By the age of 12, Mike McGill was on stage performing in front of big audiences. He grew up singing classic country, bluegrass and gospel – stuff like Buck Owens, Jimmy Martin, Hank Williams, Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley.
Mike has played with numerous Knoxville bands, including The Drunk Uncles and The Barstool Romeos. He spent 7 years playing full-time with the bluegrass band White Oak Flats entertaining audiences in Gatlinburg, TN and has performed at venues large and small, including the Bijou Theater and Bristol Motor Speedway. He also played for American troops in Honduras and Guantanamo Bay as part of a 2-week USO tour.
Recently Mike has begun to spend more time on his own music and has been putting out a steady stream of great new songs, many of which have been getting airplay on WDVX, WUTK, and many other radio stations around the country.
Mike is available as a solo performer or as a part of his band, The Barstool Romeos.
