With years of experience in the exploits of a traveling musician in various outfits, Sam is pleased to join The Parlor teaching staff. A proud South Knoxvillian of over three years, Quinn brings to the table a wide range of styles from country western to that little thing called rock and roll, flatpicking to fingerpicking, with a main emphasis on the beast that is rhythmic, which is a much overlooked lifeform. Rhythm guitar is the stock that suspends the more exciting flavors of auxiliary sounds. Without a tasty base of solidity and gusto, all you have are soggy carrots and cracked pepper. Sam enjoys star wars, chicken salad and not having poison ivy.
"Sam Quinn is a pretty good guitar player and an all around okay human being." Sam Quinn, 2010
